2013, USA. Spruce/Nomex/Cedar doubletop soundboard, Indian rosewood back and sides, 650 mm scale, 51 mm nut width, 20 mm raised fingerboard, slightly radiused fingerboard, sound ports on both sides of heel, truss rod, compensated nut and saddle, 7th fret position marker, Sloan tuners, french polished finish. Near mint condition. These soundboards, that incorporate both spruce and cedar, exhibit more of the characteristics of the wood that is visible, in this case, spruce. The sound is therefore clear with a brightness that is smoothed out by the warmth of the cedar. The basses have a true low timbre, more than usually found in a solid spruce top. Projection is very good with great range of tone colors making this a very musical instrument.
