Description
2004, USA, #153. Solid spruce soundboard, 7 fan braces, beautifully figured four piece CSA back and sides, 650 mm scale, 52 mm nut width, French polished finish. Angella, who passed in 2021, was a well known California luthier whose instruments have been played by concert professionals such as Michael Lorimer and Jorge Caballero. The spruce soundboard has developed a full musical tone over the years with sensitive response and long sustain. A wonderful musical instrument that delivers exceptional clarity and superior projection. Well kept and structurally sound with the original neck shape, and no deflection in the soundboard. This guitar is ready for many more years of music. There is a very slight separation in the back between two pieces of the back, about an inch long at the end of the guitar on the treble side. It can be seen in one of the photos. Not a problem, but is mentioned in the interest of full disclosure.
