2021, Paracho, Mexico. Solid cedar soundboard, 7 fan, figured palo escrito back and sides, 650 mm scale, 52 mm nut width, lacquer finish, 12 hole tie block, fret marker at VII. Lutherie in Paracho dates back to the 18th century and Sr. Piña is currently one of the older luthiers. He adorned this instrument with ornate matching inlay on the top, back, sides, and headstock. He also chose beautifully figured palo escrito for the back and sides. More than a showpiece, the sound is bright and sparkling.
